I started sewing last year in January and haven’t stopped since. I love it because it’s a power tool and it feels like I’m being more productive since I’m harnessing the power of electricity. My house is off grid so the power comes straight from the sun.
I also love the way you can fold it up so I can make heaps of huge works and they are easy to store in my tiny house, not like giant canvas paintings that take up a lot of room, plus I like the way they look.
I always wanted to do it since I used to make colored paper collages, but they were kind of limited in how big you could go, plus paper is so fragile. These things can be treated rough, they are tough, and easy to hang too. You can hang them anywhere... out of trees, on your bed, over a fence wherever!
